Queens man arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle

Bronx, New York – On June 4, 2019, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a Trooper from SP Wards Island arrested Cliff E. Joseph, age 28, of Queens, for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree – both class A misdemeanors.
The Trooper was patrolling the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a black-colored 2014 Nissan Altima for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Joseph to not have authorization to operate the vehicle and found him criminally possessing a stun gun.
Joseph was arrested, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, and released with an appearance ticket returnable to Bronx Criminal Court on August 13, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
