Dunkirk, NY man arrested for possessing a stun gun following a traffic stop.

Buffalo, NY – On June 8, 2019, at approximately 12:11 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle for a vehicle and traffic violation on Virginia Street in the city of Buffalo. The driver, Ivan J. Hernandez, 30, of Dunkirk, NY, had a revoked license and was found to be in possession of a stun gun. Hernandez was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Buffalo, where he was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd degree; an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Hernandez was issued appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on June 17, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
