PRESS RELEASE

On June 14, 2019 Jeremy D. Rackley, age 46 and Cinthya Garza Martinez, age 34, both of Brooklyn, NY, were arrested for narcotics possession and illegal use and sale of nitrous oxide while travelling on State Route 17 in the town of Mamakating, New York.  At approximately 5:50 p.m. troopers observed a gray Infiniti traveling west bound on State Route 17 in violation of New York State vehicle and traffic law.  A subsequent interview with the driver Mr. Rackley and Ms. Martinez revealed an open container of an alcoholic beverage, and several prescription pain medications.  A state police canine search also revealed the couple to be in possession of Lysergic Acid Dethylamide (LSD), Phencyclidine (PCP), Ketamine, Cocaine, and Methylendioxymethamphetamine (MDMA-also known as ecstasy).  The couple also possessed multiple boxes of nitrous oxide.

The couple was placed under arrest and transported to state police barracks in Wurtsboro where they were processed.  Both subjects were arraigned at the Town of Mamakating Court and were remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $30,000 dollars bond.
