PRESS RELEASE

On June 17th, 2019, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Jerry Brewington, 36 of Jackson, MI, for Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th Degree. 

Brewington was pulled over on I-86 in Ellery for speeding and while speaking to Brewington, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.  A search of Brewington and his vehicle revealed a marijuana cigarette and a bag containing more than an ounce of marijuana.  Brewington's driver's license was also suspended.  Brewington was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed.  Brewington was then transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
