3 Teens and a 20-year-old charged with conspiring to commit a robbery/burglary

State Police announce the arrest of the following individuals in connection with a felony conspiracy investigation that originated during a traffic stop in the Town of Geddes.
On May 31, 2019, Troopers assigned to a seatbelt enforcement detail on Bridge Street in the town of Geddes, observed a male operating a vehicle without his seat belt on. As the trooper attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver refused to comply and drove off. After a short traffic pursuit, the vehicle malfunctioned and stopped along Milton Avenue in the village of Solvay. Two occupants fled the vehicle and two occupants were detained by troopers. During an inventory of the vehicle, troopers discovered ski masks, gloves, a sledge hammer, and an imitation Glock handgun.
The investigation has revealed that the four occupants had been planning to commit a robbery/burglary of a person/house that they believed sold large quantities of marihuana. On the day of the traffic stop, the four were enroute to commit this robbery.
Troopers charged Anthony T. Perkins, age 20 from 7591 Fitzpatrick Drive Liverpool, NY along with a 17-year-old female* and an 18-year-old male* both from Brewerton, NY, and an 18-year-old male* from Liverpool, NY with Conspiracy 4th degree, a class “E” felony.
* The identity of the 17 and 18-year-old arrestees are not being released due to their eligibility for Youthful Offender status.
