Wirt crash leads to DWI charge for Shinglehouse man

On June 22, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested Dylan C. Pesock, 19, of Shinglehouse, PA for Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree, Drinking Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway, and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol by a Person Under 21.

During their investigation of a one-car accident on County Road 8 in the town of Wirt, Pesock, the driver, was exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication. Troopers determined he had been operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. He failed standardized field sobriety tests. Pesock was then arrested and transported to SP Amity, where a chemical breath test revealed him to have a 0.14% BAC.

Pesock was issued appearance tickets for Wirt Town Court, where he is due to appear in July.
