State Police are currently investiagting a train vs. passenger vehicle accident in Wayne County.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., today, the State Police investigated a car vs. train accident near Brown and Locco Road in the town of Savannah, Wayne County.
Troopers say that an unoccupied passenger vehicle was left on the train tracks and was struck by a westbound Amtrak Train.
State Police say that there were 249 people on board the Amtrak Train and that there were no reported injuries.
The 4 individuals who abandoned the vehicle have been accounted for uninjured.
Amtrak Officials and State Police Investigators are currently on scene and the investigation is continuing.
