Bath man arrested for Criminal Sale of Marijuana 2nd Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Sex Act 3rd Degree, a class E Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child A Misdemeanor.

On Friday, July 5, 2019, the New York State Police from Bath barracks arrested Talik S. Murphy, 37, of Bath, NY for Criminal Sale of Marijuana 2nd Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Sex Act 3rd Degree, a class  E Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A Misdemeanor).

Murphy was charged after the investigation revealed he engaged in ongoing sexual conduct with a child younger than 17 years of age, as well as having provided marijuana and alcohol to children less than 18 years of age.  The sexual conduct is alleged to have spanned multiple jurisdictions since at least 2018 in the State of New York and additional charges may be forthcoming pending presentation to the Steuben County Grand Jury.

Murphy was arraigned at Steuben County Centralized Arraignment part and released on his own recognize.
