Connecticut man arrested for possessing stolen license plate

Queens, New York – On July 8, 2019, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Troopers from SP Wards Island arrested Andrew N. Gordan, age 31, of Hamden, Connecticut, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The Troopers were patrolling the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a blue-colored 2002 BMW 325i, operated by Gordan, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Gordan to be in possession of a stolen Connecticut state license plate, and he was subsequently arrested.
Gordan was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 5th Degree and remanded to Queens Central Booking pending arraignment.
