Rose man gets arrested for driving while intoxicated.

PRESS RELEASE

On July 10, 2019, Troopers out of SP Wolcott arrested Luis D. Gomez, 25, of Rose, New York for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, inadequate exhaust system, inadequate plate light and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Gomez was stopped on Wolcott Road in the Town of Rose for having an inadequate exhaust and an inadequate plate light.  He was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests.  He was also found in possession of two metal grinders containing marijuana residue, a baggie containing marijuana and two pipes containing marijuana residue.  Gomez was transported to SP Wolcott where he provided a breath sample of .09% BAC.  He was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Rose Court on August 5, 2019.
