Domestic Incident Leads to Arrest of Parolee

Brunswick Troopers arrested a Hoosick Falls man after an investigation into a domestic incident. Troopers state they received a 911 call for the domestic and after interviewing the victim and conducting an investigation, they arrested Edward C Cook, 35. The investigation revealed that during an argument, Cook had physical contact with the victim in the presence of a 2 year-old child. Cook was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Misdemeanor, and Harassment in the 2nd degree, a Violation. Additionally, it was determined that Cook was on parole, and a parole warrant was issued for him. Cook was arraigned in the Town of Hoosick Court by the Honorable Town Justice Harold McClellan, and he was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail. He is due to appear in Hoosick Town Court at a later date.
