State Police and other law enforcement agencies arrest 2 men on felony drug charges and more.

On July 9, 2019, members of the New York State Police Troop E Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET), Troop”E” Uniform Force, NYSP K9, Elmira Police Department’s Uniform and Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office conducted a narcotic investigation at West Water Street in the city of Elmira, NY. Investigators seized approximately 2.3 pounds of cocaine, approximately 15 grams of marihuana, $2,908.00 in US currency and a 2004 Lexus sedan.
As a result of the investigation, Donell Alexander,34, of New York, NY was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1nd degree (class A-1 felony) and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree (class A misdemeanor).
As a result of the investigation, Shenell Boyd, 33, of Bronx, NY was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1nd degree (class A-1 felony).
Alexander and Boyd were arraigned in the City of Elmira Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail without bail.
The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, Elmira Police Department and the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.
