On July 11, 2019, Troopers in Clifton Park were contacted by Animal Control after an injured cat was found abandoned in a crate on Hallendale Lane in the town of Clifton Park. The animal was brought to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter to be treated for what appear to be chemical burns. After examination, it is believed that the injuries occurred within a day or two of the animal being located. The cat is described as a neutered male domesticated short hair. Anyone with information regarding the animal's owner is asked to contact SP Clifton Park at 518-583-7000.
