Town of Carlisle woman arrested for Menacing 2nd degree

On July 14, 2019, New York State Troopers responded to a residence in Carlisle for a gunshots fired complaint. During the investigation, Troopers found that Michelle Linnane had fired gunshots from a 12-gauge shotgun outside of the residence in a reckless manner. Subsequent to the investigation it was determined that Linnane fired the gunshots to cause fear into two other individuals outside of the residence. As a result of the fired gunshots, a vehicle at the residence was damaged as well. Linnane was arrested for two counts of Menacing 2nd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, a Class A Misdemeanor and one count of Criminal Mischief 4th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Linnane was arraigned in the Town of Carlisle court and released on her own recognizance with a future court date scheduled.
