At approximately 2:00 p.m. yesterday, State Police attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant on 32-year-old Paul Gervasio of Halfmoon, for Criminal Contempt 1st degree.

Initial attempts to make contact with Gervasio at a residence on County Route 7 in Schodack were unsuccessful.

This morning, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Gervasio appeared on the roof of the residence and verbally engaged State Police members. Crisis Negotiators responded and actively engaged with Gervasio, who eventually surrendered without further incident.

Gervasio was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail
