Buffalo man arrested for Felony DWI following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Buffalo, NY – On August 10, 2019, at approximately 2:37 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-190 for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, Corey D. Perry, 27, of Buffalo, NY, who originally gave a false name and date of birth to Troopers, was found to be intoxicated. He was also in possession of approximately 4 grams of marijuana. Perry was transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.13%.
Additionally, Perry has a two prior DWI convictions within the last 10 years and is required to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock device. As a result, he was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony, Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Ignition Interlock Device; a Class A Misdemeanor, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, False Personation; a Class B Misdemeanor, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation, and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Perry was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on August 14, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
