Lancaster, NY man arrested for Felony DWI and possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Buffalo, NY – On August 15, 2019, at approximately 12:50 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-190 in the city of Buffalo, for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, David A. Zale, 27, of Lancaster, NY, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of approximately 14 grams of marijuana.
Zale was transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.10%. Additionally, he has two prior DWI convictions within the last 10 years and as a result was charged with
Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation, and a Vehicle and Traffic violation.
Zale was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on August 29, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
