Albany woman arrested for Felony Leandra’s Law DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit.

Guilderland, NY – On August 31, 2019, at approximately 6:49 p.m., State Police located a disabled vehicle on the shoulder of I-90 in the town of Guilderland. The driver of the vehicle, Christine E. Fogle, 37, of Albany, NY, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with 5 children in the car, ranging from ages 4 to 12 years old. The children were turned over to a responsible adult and Fogle was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%.
She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle; a Class E Felony, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child; a Class A Misdemeanor.
Fogle was released to a sober third party and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Guilderland Court on September 5, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.
