*UPDATE*
On October 1, 2019 at approximately 6:00 A.M., Troopers out of SP Fredonia responded to the Noble Farm on Route 83 in the town of Cherry Creek for a possible shooting.  Further investigation reveals that the only victim and farm owner, Nelson Noble, 53 of Cherry Creek, NY was shot multiple times.  Noble was transported by Mercy Flight to Erie County Medical Center and is in guarded condition.  Pine Valley Central School were closed on October 1, 2019 for precautionary measures due to the proximity to the incident, but this incident is not believed to further endanger community or the school.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) are in early stages of this investigation.  More information will be available as the investigation continues. 

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and NYSP Forensic Investigation Unit are assisting with this investigation.
