On October 16, 2019, State Police in Clifton Park arrested 31-year-old Alexis A. Wagner of Albany, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor) and Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree (A misdemeanor).
At approximately 12:21 p.m. on Wednesday, State Police stopped a vehicle in the town of Halfmoon, for a traffic infraction. When the Trooper spoke with the driver and the occupants of the vehicle, he observed sign indicative of drug use.
A probable cause search revealed that Wagner, who was a passenger in the car, was in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin. She also provided the Trooper a false name to avoid arrest on an outstanding warrant.
Wagner was transported to SP Clifton Park for processing and arraigned in the Halfmoon Town Court. She was subsequently remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond. She is due back in court at a later date.
