Duanesburg woman charged with animal neglect

PRESS RELEASE

On November 7, 2019, State Police in Fonda arrested 46-year-old Elizabeth A. Dolder of Duanesburg, for 14 counts of Failing to Provide Proper Sustenance, an A misdemeanor.
 
State Police responded to a home in the Town of Florida to check the welfare of a number of dogs that were on the property. Upon arriving Troopers located 14 dogs, none of which had proper access to food and water, and were living in poor conditions.
 
Troopers made contact the owner of the animals, Elizabeth Dolder, who agreed to turned the dogs over to the Montgomery County SPCA.
 
Dolder turned herself in at SP Fonda, she was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Florida Town Court on November 21, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
