State Police investigate ATV crash in Lyon Mountain

On November 10, 2019, at approximately 2:17 a.m., State Police responded to State Route 374 in the town of Dannemora, for a report of an ATV crash. An investigation at the scene revealed that a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly ATV operated by 25-year-old Devin C. Barber, of Dannemora, was traveling northwest on State Route 374, in the Lyon Mountain area, when he lost control of the ATV and rolled it. Barber was ejected and sustained a head injury. He was first transported to the University of Vermont Healthcare Network at CVPH in Plattsburgh, and later transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, where he is currently in critical condition.
 
This crash remains under investigation.
