Schenectady woman arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. more than twice the legal limit on the Thruway.

Coeymans, NY – On November 8, 2019, at approximately 7:50 p.m., State Police responded to assist Gallaghers Towing with a vehicle that ran out of gas on I-90 in the town of Coeymans. Upon interviewing the driver of the vehicle, Sara S. Christopher, 34, of Schenectady, NY, she was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license.
Christopher was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .21%. She was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; a Class E Felony and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.
Christopher was released to a sober third party and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Coeymans Court on November 21, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
