On November 12, 2019, State Police in Latham arrested 37-year old Tanesha L. Mogilles of Sacramento California, for Bail Jumping 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd, Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Resisting Arrest, all A misdemeanors.

At approximately 11:27 a.m. on Tuesday, State Police responded to Ferry Street in Albany after Mogilles called police to report that she had been involved in a traffic collision overnight. When a Trooper responded to investigate the accident, he checked the status of Mogilles driver’s license and found that she had an active warrant out of the City of Cohoes. The Trooper asked Mogilles, who was seated in her car, to step out. Mogilles refused and was removed from the vehicle. When the Trooper attempted to place her in custody, she actively resisted arrest before being successfully secured.

A search of Mogilles and her vehicle revealed that she was in possession of a quantity of edibles containing THC, and drug paraphernalia.

Mogilles was transported to SP Latham for processing and arraigned in Cohoes City Court. She is due back at a later date.
