Troopers find just under 3 ounces of crack cocaine during Queensbury traffic stop

On November 9, 2019, State Police in Queensbury arrested 38-year-old Luciann Homer of the Bronx, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (B felony) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Also charged was 42-year-old Carlos J. Reyes of Brooklyn, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (B felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th degree (D felony), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia (A misdemeanor), and four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A misdemeanor).
At approximately 3:26 a.m. on the morning of November 9th, State Police stopped a vehicle driven by Carlos Reyes as he travelled on State Route 149 in Queensbury, after he committed a traffic infraction. When the Trooper approached the vehicle, he observed Reyes attempting to hide a glass pipe containing cocaine residue. A search of Reyes, his passenger Luciann Homer, and the vehicle, yielded just under 3 ounces of crack cocaine, a pill bottle containing oxycodone and Darvocet, glassine envelopes containing heroin, Suboxone, and drug paraphernalia.
Holmer and Reyes were transported to SP Queensbury for processing after which they were arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Part. Homer was remanded to Warren County Jail in lieu of $1,250 cash or $2,500 bond. Reyes was remanded to Warren County Jail on $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond. Both are due back in court at later date.
