UPDATE: Arrest warrant issued for Derrick Carlisle

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Derrick H. Carlisle by Northville Town Court, and has been lodged with the Northumberland County Jail in Pennsylvania.
The charge listed on the warrant is Operator Leaving the Scene of an Accident- Injury Resulting in Death, a class D felony.
Carlisle remains in custody at Northumberland County Jail, a date for his extradition has not yet been determined.
UPDATE- Following an autopsy conducted at Albany Medical Center, it has been determined that Andria Berger died as a result of multiple blunt force trauma.
The investigation is ongoing no further details are available at this time.
State Police are confirming the identity of the victim in this weekend’s fatal pedestrian hit and run in the Town of Northampton.
At approximately 7:04 a.m. on Sunday, a passerby located 46-year-old Andria M. Berger of Broadalbin deceased off the roadway of State Route 30. On scene investigation determined that Berger had been struck by a red pickup truck that had left the scene of the collision.
State Police, with the assistance of the Point Township Police Department in Pennsylvania, have located the vehicle and driver involved.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. last night, 44-year-old Derrick H. Carlisle of Northville was located by Point Township Police Department as he travelled on a roadway in Point Township Pennsylvania. At the time he was stopped, he was operating a red 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, which had damage consistent with the accident.
Carlisle is currently in the custody of the Point Township Police Department and is facing charges in their jurisdiction for Receiving Stolen Property (Felony) and Firearms not to be Carried Without a License (Felony).
The New York State Police would like to thank the public for their assistance as well as, local law enforcement from Fulton and Montgomery County, the Pennsylvania State Police, and Point Township Police Department.
