New Jersey man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Greenburgh, NY – On November 15, 2019, at approximately 11:00 p.m., State Police responded to a report of an erratic operator on I-287 in the town of Greenburgh. Troopers located the vehicle and during the investigation, the driver, Diego Luengas-Ramirez, 47, of Cliffside Park, NJ, was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.21%.
Luengas-Ramirez was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor. He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on December 10, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
