Employee arrested after stealing $2,500 worth of Electronics from Target

PRESS RELEASE

On November 18, 2019, State Police in Wilton arrested 27-year-old Brendan J. Darmetko of Cohoes, for Grand Larceny 4th degree (E felony) and Petit Larceny (A misdemeanor).
 
State Police received a complaint from asset protection personnel at Target Distribution Center in the Town of Wilton, that an employee had stolen assorted merchandise. Investigation revealed that Darmetko had removed over $2,500 worth of electronic goods from the facility. The goods consisted of two Apple iPhones and an HP Chromebook.
 
Darmetko was taken into custody without incident and transported to SP Wilton for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket and due in Wilton Town Court on November 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
