Schenectady man charged with DWI more than three times the legal limit

On November 22, 2019, State Police in Princetown arrested 57-year-old Sispaul Sumair of Schenectady, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
At approximately 5:50 p.m. on Friday, State Police responded to Albany Street in Schenectady for a vehicle that was parked in the middle of the road. When the Trooper arrived, the vehicle was located in a parking lot on the corner of Albany St. and Robinson.
When the Trooper interviewed the driver Sispaul Sumair, they could smell a strong odor of alcohol and observed multiple signs of intoxication. Sumair was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, but was unable to successfully complete them. He was subsequently taken into custody and transported to SP Princetown where he provided a breath sample of .25% B.A.C.
Sumair was issued and appearance ticket for Schenectady City Court for December 3, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
