State Police Troop “L” – Underage Drinking Enforcement in Southold, Suffolk County

On Wednesday November 27, 2019, the New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted an Underage Drinker Enforcement Operation in the town of Southold. During the operation, 1 retail establishment was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to an undercover State Police operative under the age of 21.
Arrested and charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the First Degree and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage was: Robert Hansult, 63, of Riverhead, a cashier at Richard Harvest Wines and Liquors on Main Rd. in Mattituck.
The following establishments were also checked and found to be in compliance:
1.) Orhan Mini-Mart on Main Rd. in Laurel.
2.) Main Rd. Liquors on Main Rd. in Mattituck.
3.) La Tienda on Main Rd. in Mattituck.
4.) Handy Pantry on Main Rd. in Mattituck.
5.) BP on Rte. 25 in Mattituck.
6.) 7-Eleven on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.
7.) Valero Food Mart on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.
8.) Peconic Liquors on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.
9.) Citgo Quik Mart on Main Rd. in Cutchogue.
10.) Gulf Mini-Mart on Rte. 25 in Southold
11.) Village Liquor Store on Main St. in Southold.
