Corinth woman facing assault charges

On December 1, 2019, State Police in Saratoga arrested 24-year-old Jayde L. Tesiero of Corinth, for Assault 3rd degree (A misdemeanor), Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd degree (A misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (A misdemeanor), and Harassment 2nd degree (violation).
At approximately 11:19 p.m. on Sunday, State Police responded to a residence in the Town of Corinth for a domestic dispute. On scene investigation revealed that Tesiero had attacked an individual at the residence, causing a second person to intervene and restrain her until law enforcement arrived. When Troopers attempted to take her into custody, Tesiero resisted arrest, spitting at and attempting to headbutt them.
Tesiero was successfully secured and transported to SP Saratoga for processing. She was arraigned in Corinth Town Court and remanded to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,500 bond. She is due back in court on December 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
