Greenfield man facing child pornography charges

PRESS RELEASE

On December 12, 2019, State Police BCI in Wilton, with the assistance of the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and Homeland Security, arrested 19-year-old Hunter Burnette of Greenfield. Burnette was charged with Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child (E felony) and Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (D felony).
 
Burnette is accused of possessing and uploading images consistent with child sexual exploitation via the internet. He was taken into custody after the execution of a search warrant at his residence.
 
Burnette was arraigned in the City of Saratoga Court and released on his own recognizance to appear in Greenfield Town Court next week.
 
The investigation stemmed from several cyber tip received by the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
