Harriman, NY woman arrested for DWI with a BAC more than twice the legal limit following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

New Windsor, NY – On January 5, 2020, at approximately 7:50 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of New Windsor for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle, Heather A. MacMahon, 50, of Harriman, NY, was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Newburgh, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and several vehicle and Traffic Violations.
MacMahon was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of New Windsor Court on January 21, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
