Woman arrested for stealing funds from North Hudson Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary

On March 29, 2017, State Police arrested April M. Bessey, 34, of North Hudson, for stealing funds from the North Hudson Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. An investigation, which was reported to State Police on February 22, 2016, revealed that Bessey, the president of the Ladies Auxiliary, stole money on three separate occasions, totaling approximately $550.
 
Bessey was charged with three counts of Petit Larceny and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of North Hudson Court, on April 18, 2017, at 10 a.m.
