New York State Police arrested a Port Henry woman for drug sales in Essex County. The arrest was made on an Essex County arrest warrant on April 24, 2017.
Christine Sheldon, 45, of Port Henry, was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree for selling oxycodone. Sheldon appeared in Essex County Court and was remanded to the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Sheldon is to reappear in Essex County Court on May 4, 2017.
The arrest stems from a long term investigation into the sale and use of narcotics in the Essex County area, by the New York State Police Troop B -Narcotics Enforcement Unit.
