On April 25, 2017 at approximately 4:30 pm Troopers responded to the Hague Market in Hague, NY for a report of a robbery which left the store owner injured with gunshot wounds.

The investigation has revealed that during the robbery the 63 year old male owner of the store suffered multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds from a handgun. He was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington for treatment of those wounds.

Officials are looking for two possible suspects involved in the robbery and shooting.
The first is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was believed to be wearing a camouflage bandana which covered his nose and mouth area leaving just his eyes exposed along with a do-rag type piece of cloth covering his head. He was wearing sunglasses.

The second suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. She was wearing a long green skirt and black shawl.
At this time there is no known method or direction of travel by the two after the robbery and shooting and what proceeds were gained by the suspects during the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing at this time with assistance from the Ticonderoga Police Department, the Essex County Sheriff’s Office, and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. Officials ask that anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area of the store to call the state police at 518-583-7000.
