On December 29, 2017, the New York State Police arrested Michael C. Flood, age 57, of Seaford, N.Y. for Grand Larceny. In September of 2017, Mr. Flood entered into a contract with Mary Clark, age 81, of Seaford, N.Y. to conduct carpentry work at her residence. Mrs. Clark provided Mr. Flood with her American Express Credit Card for the purpose of purchasing materials related to the job. In addition to purchasing authorized materials, Mr. Flood, with the use of the American Express Credit Card, made purchases of materials including food and beverages that were not authorized by Mrs. Clark, totaling $1,447.95. Mr. Flood was charged with Grand Larceny 4th (E-Felony) and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nassau County First District Court on December 30, 2017.
