Bloomingdale man arrested for DWI and weapon possession

On February 3, 2018, at approximately 6 p.m., State Police responded to State Route 3 in the town of Franklin for a report of a vehicle of the road and a subject who had fled the scene on foot. An investigation revealed that a 2007 Kia, operated by 27-year-old Jordan T. Snickles of Bloomingdale, had gone off the roadway near R&L Towing, and became stuck in a ditch. Troopers followed the foot tracks leading from the vehicle and located Snickles sitting in the woods. Snickles was subsequently arrested for DWI. His blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.19%.
Snickles was also found to be in possession of a pair of metal knuckles.  He was charged with Aggravated DWI, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree (D felony), and further ticketed for moving from lane unsafely.  Snickles was arraigned in Town of Harrietstown Court where he was remanded to the Franklin County Jail.
