Two arrested on Robbery charges in town of LeRay

Schroy                                                 Fermin

State Police in Watertown arrested Kadi E. Schroy, age 19, from Watertown, NY and Ormi C. Fermin, age 22, from Brooklyn, NY following a robbery investigation.
 
On November 12, 2017, a 19-year-old male arranged to meet two individuals in front of his residence in the town of LeRay to purchase marijuana. When the complainant attempted to pay the individuals in the car, they took the money and began to drive away with the victims arm still inside the vehicle.  The victim stated he began running next to the car with his arm still inside and his feet dragging across the ground.  The passenger, later identified as Ormi Fermin punched the complainant in the face which caused him to eventually fall to the ground and struck by the car.
 
On January 10, 2018, Kadi E. Schroy was charged with Robbery 2nd degree, a class “C” felony. Schroy was arraigned in the town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $5,000 cash bail/$10,000 bond.
 
On February 8, 2018, Ormi C. Fermin was charged with Robbery 2nd degree, a class “C” felony. Fermin was arraigned in city of Watertown Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building on $1,000 cash bail / $2,000 secure bond.
