Two men arrested for bringing contraband into Prison

On February 24, 2018 the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Clarence arrested Gregory A. Sulkowski, 38 of Blasdell, NY, and James J. Keller, 37 of Buffalo, NY, both for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.

On February 24, 2018, State Police was contacted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigation (OSI) and advised that two correction officers at Wende Correctional Facility were found to be in possession of drugs, following a K9 search of employees reporting to work. Both suspects were transported to SP Clarence and processed, and then arraigned in the town of Alden Court.

This case was a joint investigation by the New York State Police and the New York State Department of Corrections and the Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.
