Troopers in New Scotland arrest woman for Felony DWI

PRESS RELEASE On February 25, 2018 New York State Police from New Scotland arrested Ambre L. Pomykala, 28, of Selkirk, NY for Driving While Intoxicated with a previous conviciton within 10 years. Troopers received a complaint of an erratic operator driving on State Route 32 in the Town of New Scotland and located the vehicle pulling into a local restaurant. Upon approaching Pomykala’s vehicle, the Trooper observed the strong odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from Pomykala’s breath. Pomykala was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to SP New Scotland. At SP New Scotland, Pomykala provided a breath sample showing a .17% blood alcohol concentration. Pomykala was processed without incident and released to a sober third party. Pomykala is scheduled to appear in the Town of New Scotland Court on March 22, 2018 at 5:00 PM.
