State Police seek public assistance with larceny investigation in Jefferson County

State Police in Alexandria Bay have identified the two individuals in surveillance photos regarding a larceny investigation from the A-Bay Community Thrift Store located on State Route 12 in the town of Orleans.

The New York State Police would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the public for their assistance in identifying both suspects. The investigation is continuing.

State Police in Alexandria Bay are attempting to identify the two individuals above regarding a larceny investigation from the A-Bay Community Thrift Store located on State Route 12 in the town of Orleans.

On February 27, 2018, at approximately 8:25pm, a white colored van or SUV pulled into the parking lot of the Thrift Store and to the back of the building where the donation shed is located. It appears two females backed up to the shed, opened the hatch, and took one bag into the shed. The two females then removed 3 bags of unknown items, 4 cardboard boxes of items, 2 plastic bins of clothes and a floor mirror. The vehicle was loaded up and the subjects drove away.
