Wolcott man gets arrested for felony DWI and multiple violations.

PRESS RELEASE


On March 3, 2018, Troopers out of SP Wolcott arrested Nicholas D. Stevenson, 29, of Wolcott, New York for felony driving while intoxicated (previous conviction within ten years), refusal to submit to a breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating in violation of restrictions, improper left turn and criminal impersonation.

Stevenson was stopped on Waters Road in the Town of Wolcott for making an improper left turn.  He was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests.  Stevenson was transported to SP Wolcott where he refused to submit to a breath test and gave an impoper name and ID.  He was arraigned in the Town of Wolcott Court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $500 cash/$1,000 bond.  He is scheduled to reappear on April 5, 2018.  Additional charges may be pending.
