Wrong way driver arrested for DWI

PRESS RELEASE


(Union, NY – March 5, 2018) -  On March 4, 2018 at about 2:30 a.m., New York State Police at Binghamton arrested Lisa A. Keyes, age 37, of Fenton, NY for the misdemeanors of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .21%, Reckless Endangerment and multiple traffic violations. 

Troopers arrested Keyes after she led Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies in a pursuit where she was observed to be traveling in the wrong direction on I-88, I-81 and State Route 17.  Troopers were able to get ahead of Keyes on State Route 17 in the town of Union where she finally stopped her vehicle.  Keyes was subsequently arrested by troopers for DWI. 

Keyes was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Union Court on April 3, 2018.
