Schodack Troopers Arrest North Adams man for Aggravated DWI

At approximately 6:18 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on SR-43 in the Town of Stephentown for failure to keep right.  Upon interviewing the driver, Roberts, he had bloodshot glassy eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from his breath.  Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were admnistered and Roberts was placed under arrest for DWI.

He was trasnported to the station where he provided a breath sample resulting in a .18% blood alcohol concentration (BAC).  Due to his BAC being .18% or higher the charge was elevated to Aggravated DWI.

He was processed and released to a sober third party to appear in court at a later date.
