Galloway, NJ man arrested for Marihuana possession.

PRESS RELEASE



Rye, NY – On March 5, 2018, at approximately 10:54 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287, in the Town of Rye for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle, Christian T. Nugent, age 35, of Galloway, NJ, was found to be in possession of several clear plastic bags containing marihuana. 1) bag contained approximately 11.3 grams of marihuana 2) bag containing 37.7 grams of marihuana, also located was approximately 20 grams of edible items containing THC. Nugent was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where he was subsequently charged with:
 

  • Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the 5th degree; a Class B Misdemeanor
  • Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 7th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor
  • Vehicle and Traffic Violation

 
Nugent was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Rye Court on March 29, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.
