State Police arrest 13 year old student in the Port Byron School District for Making a Terroristic Threat

PRESS RELEASE

 

The State Police arrest a 13 year old student in the Port Byron School District for Making a Terroristic Threat, a class "D" Felony.  Troopers allege the that the student made claims of harming other students at the school.  At no time did investigators believe his threats would be carried put and at no time were any students or faculty in any danger. 
The student was processed for the charge and released to the custody of a legal guardian and issued a Family Court Appearance Ticket directing the juvenile to appear at the Cayuga County Family Court on a later date.
