The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Bath barracks announces the arrest of an Alpine woman regarding an ongoing investigation into the production, distribution, and sale of methamphetamine in Steuben County.
State Police arrested Noelle McCarthy, age 27, of  Alpine, NY, and charged her with one count of Criminal Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Material in the 2nd Degree (a class “A” misdemeanor).  Investigators allege that during the afternoon of August 13, 2018, McCarthy entered the pharmacy inside the Tops Markets grocery store in the village of Bath and purchased a pseudoephedrine product with the knowledge that it would be used to unlawfully manufacture methamphetamine.  McCarthy was released on an appearance ticket and directed to appear in the Bath Village Court at a later date.
