Gates man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

On October 16, 2018, the New York State Police in Rochester arrested Charles T. Young, a 49 year old Gates resident, for Driving While Intoxicated.  Troopers observed Young speeding and failing to maintain his lane while driving on State Route 590 in Irondequoit.  Upon stopping his vehicle, Young displayed several signs and failed field sobriety tests.  Young was transported to the State Police barracks in Rochester for processing where he submitted to a breath test with a reportable blood-alcohol content of .14%.  Young was released to a third party with tickets returnable for the Irondequoit Town Court on November 27, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.
