On October 20, 2018, Troopers out of SP Auburn arrested Melissa A. Childres, 42, of Jordan, New York for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than .08%, possession of an open container, failure to keep right and moving from the lane unsafely.

Childres was stopped on North Street and Turnpike Road in the Town of Sennett for failing to keep right and moving from the lane unsafely.  She was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests.  Childres was transported to SP Auburn where she provided a breath sample of .11% BAC.  She was issued uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Sennett Court on October 24, 2018.
